The national park ‘De Veluwe’ and its direct surroundings, are consindered the gravel heaven of the Netherlands. Rick and Mark will guide you across some of the very best gravel paths this part of the Netherlands has to offer. Forests, heathlands, rural area’s, small villages, castles and much more await you! The routes are diverce, scenic and do not require top level bike handling. An adventurous mindset and a minimal 38mm tire size is more than enough to fully enjoy the tracks and trails! Your stay is fully catered. Just bring along your bike and a good mood!
Besides all the meals at the Estate, we will also provide you with some home made after-bike snacks for swift refueling. This weekend is suitable for gravel cyclists of levels 1, 2, and 3. Below you can find an example of the setup of the weekend. We will, of course, try to take everyone’s level into account and adjust the routes accordingly. The slogan is “We go out together, we come home together” and we will ensure a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

The Veluwe, one of the Netherlands’ most stunning natural regions, is a paradise for gravel cyclists. Its vast network of quiet forest trails, sandy paths, and rolling heathlands offers endless variety and adventure. Here, you can ride for hours without traffic, surrounded by the scents of pine trees and the sound of birdsong. The terrain mixes smooth gravel with challenging climbs and fast descents, perfect for exploring at your own rhythm. Every season brings its own colors — golden heather in late summer, misty mornings in autumn. Gravel cycling in the Veluwe is freedom, nature, and pure joy on two wheels.
You will stay at Estate ´Mennorode’. The Estate is in the hart of national park ‘De Veluwe’ The Mennorode estate has a rich history and has been welcoming guests for relaxing nature vacations in the Veluwe since 1925 You will stay in a nice 2 person room with comfy bed, en-suit bathroom, TV, internet acces and more. S cured bike stalling is available.
