This is a Panache Special! Normally, our base is in Nittel, on the banks of the Moselle, but now we are heading a little higher up. We have reserved a number of luxury chalets at the Val d’Or campsite in northern Luxembourg. Val d’Or is located in Enscherange, in the middle of the Luxembourg Ardennes, also known as the Eislek region. This is where Luxembourg’s highest hills are located, reaching heights of up to 550 meters; a great place to spend 3 days climbing and descending in beautiful surroundings. The slopes here are a bit longer and more gradual than elsewhere, and the asphalt is beautiful. It is an ideal place for both novice and advanced climbers (and descenders) who want to enjoy everything this region has to offer on a road bike. We provide accommodation, all meals, after-bike snacks, recovery training, and guidance during the rides. The campsite has a fire pit, so a good atmosphere and a tasty BBQ are also on the program. All you have to do is cycle and enjoy yourself.
During this Panache Special, we will be staying at Val d’Or campsite in Enscherange, in the heart of the Luxembourg Ardennes (Eislek). We will be spending the night in comfortable, luxurious chalets with private bedrooms and shared living and bathroom facilities. The perfect base for three days of cycling on quiet asphalt roads, long climbs, and beautiful descents. After the rides, there will be time to relax, eat together, and chat around the fire pit
The Eislek, located in northern Luxembourg, is a hidden gem for cyclists. This hilly area is known for its quiet roads, perfect asphalt, and long, steady climbs to an altitude of around 550 meters. You cycle through vast forests, green valleys, and picturesque villages, far away from busy traffic. The combination of challenging elevation changes, smooth descents, and breathtaking views makes the Eislek an ideal region for both novice and experienced climbers. Here, cycling is all about rhythm, nature, and pure enjoyment.
